In accordance with the provisions of the Restriction on the Use of Tobacco Products and Related Products Act, our laboratory, as the competent authority of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia, has been designated for receiving, storing, processing, analysing and publishing data and measuring emissions from tobacco products and related products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Related products mean electronic cigarettes and nicotine-free electronic cigarettes, herbal products for smoking and novel tobacco products. Manufacturers and importers of electronic cigarettes and refill containers must submit a notification to the NLZOH of any such products which they intend to place on the market. The notification must be submitted in electronic form six months before the intended placing on the market. A new notification must be submitted for each modification of the product. If the e-liquid does not contain nicotine, it is not subject to the provisions of the ZOUTPI and not addressed by our laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
We have been designated by the Ministry of Health as the competent authority for receiving, storing, processing, analysing and publishing data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manufacturers and importers of herbal products for smoking must provide us with a list of all ingredients and their quantities that are used in the manufacture of such products by brand name and type six months before the intended placing on the market of a new or modified herbal product for smoking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manufacturers and importers of novel tobacco products must provide us with a notification on each novel tobacco product they intend to place on the market six months before the intended placing on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Analyses<\/strong> The NLZOH measures nicotine content in e-liquids under the following standard:
ISO 20714:2019 for nicotine.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
Reporting on electronic cigarettes and refillable containers<\/strong> All information on tobacco products and related products must be submitted via the European Common Entry Gate (EU-CEG) made available by the European Commission. Instructions on how to log in and obtain the submitter ID are available from the European Commission. To log in, you need to create an account and request an ID. You can download the registration form and the instructions from the EU-CEG website.<\/a>
